As part of lifelong learning, Steps Photography Pte Ltd also do provide photography trainings to primary and secondary schools. Our instructors are MOE registered and with a comprehensive in-house 40 weeks curriculum, available for beginner and intermediate groups of students.
At the end of the 40 weeks photography course, students will be proficient in taking structured photo-composition of still and moving images.
Students will also understand the technical functions of the DSLR such as the usage of Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO. Of which students will be given different scenarios, to act upon which mode to prioritise in order to capture suitable images for the given assignment.
Students will also be paired in groups, which would help in polishing their soft skills during discussion and leadership skills when they are tasked with a group photography assignment.
Students will also participate in nation wide events yearly such as the National Photography Challenge organised by Nikon or Canon.
In a nutshell, these 40 weeks of media trainings will entail every students the proficiency of handling a DSLR, independently shooting a theme of their own, photojournalism, acquiring necessary intrinsic skill sets while working with a team.
